Material World / Schiedam 28th september till 23rd november 2003

In collaboration with Evan Gelders, Marco Boom and Saint Gobain Glass Company Schiedam.

This workshop is set up by Artotheek Schiedam and is about design students working together with local businesses to come up with new and surprising products for in home. For me this was a great experience because it was a chance to collaborate with students of the Industrial design department of Delft University and with a company with who we had to come up with a new product. It where these factors that made it worth participating in this project.

Going through a design process keeping in mind the possibilities as well the limitations of a certain company and a specific material was an exiting thing to do. Not even mentioned the good experience of working with students that have a technical approach to design and having a look at their university.
