About

I am trained as a graphic and product designer and I have produced works in a wide variety of media including; ceramics, textiles, wood, metal and alloys, plastic, paper, photo and video. I graduated with an MA in Design Products from the Royal College of Art in 2007. Currently I am working freelance for a variety of clients as well as developing personal projects and commissions.

My main objective is finding clever new ways of applying material and production techniques. I have always been attracted by the possibilities that matter and fabrication bring. Here is where I find my stimulus and discover space for development. With this I am constantly in search to find new ways to create exciting new products with form and beauty that results natural out their process. In my work you can find uncommon choices of material and methods of application that lead to exceptional performance.

People are all unique with our own history and ideas about living. Nevertheless we are also similar and have relations with each other. With design and in production I try to find methods to create families instead of duplicates. I do this because I like my work to have diversity so that all the final products are unique and still are related with each other. In this way I try to achieve that my work stimulates personal attachment and becomes part of life.
