The collaboration between Oscar Diaz and myself, that has started last year with the creation of the exhibition Changing Dimensions, has been developed in to Parallel Projects.
With Parallel Projects we create experiences through design exhibitions. Please have a look at our new website and see the new project for Gallery Goodd in Glasgow. We run Parallel Projects next to our own design studios.

Designers are future makers!

The mobile workshop group was created by So Hyun Kim, Bas Kools, Nina Mrsnik and Henny van Nistelrooy to suggest the design education system under the title of Designers are future makers! The mobile workshop group builds the future scenario with students through local research and lead mobile workshops in different areas.

The first workshop was held at Academy of Design, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Cittadellarte, exhibition opening.

A grey and a brown version of the hat design “Cappello della Luce” for Barbisio have been presented last week at an exhibition held at Cittadellarte/Fondazione Pistoletto.
Inspired by classic comics as those of Frank Miller (Sin City) where the men of significance always wear a hat. Henny has translated the style of drawing strong black and white contrasts to indicate light and shadow, in to the design of a new fur felt hat for Barbisio.

Prototypes for new hats.

Last week Henny was working at the factory of Cappellificio Cervo on the prototypes of new hats he has designed for them. These will be presented on 24th of November at Cittadellarte/Fondazione Pistoletto, Biella IT.
